Commercial and stud lambing is in full swing at Mt Cass this month.
We scanned the commercial ewes on our Washcreek block today, happy with our result of 173%, bring on lambing!
Here are our Wiltshire 2 tooth’s to be sold at our sale on Wednesday at 12 pm. We are selling 350 2th ewes, 250 5 year + ewes, 2200 ewe lambs and 77 Wiltshire rams.

It’s been a busy couple of days here at Mt Cass. Yesterday we had our Elite Ram sale where prices were strong which shows confidence is building in NZ’s shedding sheep offering. Today we had our on farm trading lamb sale, prices are back on last year but it is good to see there is still some positivity in the market.
Time for a shout out to all of the sponsors, agents, suppliers, new and returning customers for your continued support. And most importantly a huge thanks to the team at Mt Cass Station for going the extra mile to bring it all together.

100days old and some of these lambs are already pretty clean shed. Get your hands on some of your own shedding ewes at our breeding sale January 17th 2024.
